Ten days of indulgence by campervan across the Périgord and the Quercy. The route strings together Sarlat-la-Canéda and its medieval market, Domme overlooking the Dordogne, Rocamadour clinging to its cliff, Cahors and its black wine, all the way to Agen and its prunes. It's a journey you taste as much as you see: foie gras, truffle, walnuts, cabécou cheese and farmers' markets at every stop. The campervan opens the doors of farms and tasting stops off the main roads. Autumn, the season of harvests and gras markets, is ideal; summer stays very busy in Sarlat and Rocamadour. Arrive early at the major sites and book farm visits ahead.
