Tripsty places great importance on the protection of your personal data. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and what your rights are.
Data collected
Tripsty does not require any registration or account creation. We do not collect any personally identifiable data. The only data processed is: your geographic location (only if you explicitly allow it through your browser), your favorite preferences (stored locally on your device), and your language preference.
Data storage
Your favorites and preferences are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage, directly on your device. None of this data is transmitted to our servers or to third parties. If you clear your browser data, your favorites will be deleted.
Cookies and trackers
Tripsty uses Google AdSense for displaying advertisements. Google may use cookies to personalize ads based on your interests. You can manage your advertising cookie preferences through Google Ads settings or your browser. No other tracking cookies are used by Tripsty.
Third-party services
Tripsty uses the following third-party services: DATAtourisme (national tourism data), OpenStreetMap (map tiles), OSRM (route calculation), French government Address API (geocoding), Google Fonts (typefaces), and Google AdSense (advertising). Each of these services is subject to its own privacy policy.
Your rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify and delete your data. Since Tripsty does not store any personal data on its servers, exercising these rights mainly concerns data stored locally on your device, which you can delete at any time by clearing your browser's navigation data.
