Brittany: Coasts and Legends
From the Pink Granite Coast to Pointe du Raz, wild and mysterious Brittany.
Six days of road-tripping along the Breton coast, among cliffs, islands and legends. The route links the corsair city of Saint-Malo to wild Cap Fréhel, the flower-filled Île de Bréhat, the Pink Granite Coast with its sea-sculpted boulders, and on to the wind-battered Pointe du Raz. This is a land's-end Brittany of dramatic tides, lighthouses, crêpes and tales of korrigans. Watch the tide tables closely, as they transform the landscape hour by hour, and pack a windbreaker in any season: the weather turns fast. Spring and summer offer the longest days; the Pink Granite Coast is magical in the setting sun.
