Burgundy Grand Crus Wine Route

Three days on the Route des Grands Crus, from Dijon to Santenay, through a vineyard whose Climats have been World Heritage listed since 2015: one thousand two hundred and forty-seven plots delimited and named since the Middle Ages. The route links Dijon and the Palace of the Dukes, Gevrey-Chambertin, Vougeot and its fifty-hectare Cistercian clos, seat of the Chevaliers du Tastevin brotherhood, Vosne-Romanee where romanee-conti occupies under two hectares, then Beaune and its glazed-tile hospices, and finally Meursault. The great estates do not receive visitors without an appointment: use village tasting rooms or the Beaune wine school instead. The hospices charity auction, on the third Sunday of November, fills the whole town.
