Alsace-Vosges by Campervan
7 days between the Alsace Wine Route and the Vosges Ridge Road. Half-timbered villages, winstubs and Vosges lakes. Campervan areas in the vineyards.
Seven days by campervan between the Alsace plain and the Vosges ridges. The route links Strasbourg and its cathedral, the flower-filled villages of Obernai, Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr on the wine road, before climbing to the Vosges balloon summits and their panoramas. It's a journey of contrasts: winstubs and half-timbering below, forests, lakes and farm-inns high up. The campervan lets you sleep close to the passes and trailheads. The autumn harvest and Advent (Christmas markets) are magical; summer offers the cool of the summits. Check ridge-road openings out of season and pack warm clothes for the Vosges.
